I am watching and it's okay. I really like the core cast of characters but the story is moving too fast for their actions to have a relatable impact on their personal development. Doug Jones, Lucius Malfoy and the woman from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon are all really good. There's some bad acting too but it's star trek so pretty much working as intended. They're mixing their super serious storyline with obviously intentional callbacks to Trek campiness and I've never seen anything quite like it before, I'm not saying its bad but its narratively super weird sometimes.
All the klingon actors got boned with heavy rubber prosthetics that look terrible and are difficult to portray any emotion with and a clunky language that they speak absurdly slowly. I'm not totally against redesigning established aliens but they did a huge disservice to the actors/writers/franchise with this attempt. Instead of getting used to it, I'm actually hating it more every passing week.

Thanks. My local government tried as hard as it could to make sure as many people died as possible but luckily for me they were only targeting the old and the disabled for this purge.
Been meaning to do the same although I think i stopped in season 3 somewhere. They make so many episodes it can be hard to track all of it. is Malfoy in it yet?
I can’t believe I haven’t been in here ranting and raving about The Expanse, which is now at season 4. The novels are really worth a read too.
I also binged the first season of The Terror. A sort of survival horror meets historical fiction. So good. Season two however was pretty meh (I haven’t actually finished, I stopped at about ep 5).
Also Teen Titans GO! vs Teen Titans was a better cross over than the current Crisis crossover with Flash/Supergirl et al, IMO.
Expanse is so good. Season 4 was enjoyable though I thought most of the new characters were a little flat. Season 3 might have been my favorite season of tv this decade so...
I should also clarify that I’m reading the books after the tv series. So the show doesn’t get spoiled for me and I get to enjoy it without expectations. Then I get to read the book which has even more detail and is more immersive. I have to say I prefer it this was as opposed to having read the book first ie game of thrones.
