Kasumi, Shadow Broker for ME2
Citadel, Leviathan for ME3
Bring Down the Sky for ME1
Those are the good ones. Omega, Arrival and Zaeed are okay (I mean Zaeed is pretty great). Overlord is not good. Pinnacle station is not good unless you love ME1 combat.

It seems like a better deal to pay $5 for the Origin monthly thing and just have access to everything, then cancel when I'm done. I think I'll just do that and buy it when it goes on sale.

Re: What are you wonderful people up to?
Zaeed's one of the free ones for ME2 along with weapons and shit. Kasumi god tier. I liked Shadow Broker. I also liked Overlord but I haven't played it in years. Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are included AFAIK.
People beg for a remaster but I'd probably pay them $40 just to get all three games and all the DLC on one platform. I'm spread between 360 and PC. I don't think people even realize you can buy the DLC through origin since it's listed differently for those games versus new ones.
Pewps the Origin monthly thing doesn't have all the DLC.

Wow what a bunch of shit. I was kind of torn between playing The Witcher 3 & DLC or Mass Effect series but I guess I'll just go with the Witcher nowbadfo wrote:Pewps the Origin monthly thing doesn't have all the DLC.

I have been playing some me3 recently. Been enjoying engineer, at one point there was a throwaway comment about shep being an engineer that was cool. They didn't really do enough with class based character development.

I'm going to play mass effect 3 again too. I started a femshep. It still aggravates me how much bioware abandoned even light-rpg elements with that game. I actually quite like the game but I feel like it was misdirected--a product of the moment in video games, what bioware thought it had to do to make it a super mega hit. I'm actually pretty optimistic the new mass effect will at least have basic rpg stuff--hopefully more choice and story, which feels the most lacking in ME3, especially after ME2, which had the most diverse story choice of any game bioware has ever made (not counting balder's gate).isgrelindisguise wrote:I have been playing some me3 recently. Re: What are you wonderful people up to?
I feel like all the RPG choices for ME3 were made in ME1 and ME2 as they affect how virtually every ME3 mission plays out. Nothing that happens in ME3 affects ME3 missions down the line, they just affect what resources you get.
I think my favorite example is that I fucking hated Thane, so most of my saves from ME2 included Thane dead. I did, however, love Kirahe, the Salarian Special Forces commander from ME1. In ME3 this posed a problem for me, as Kirahe would heroically sacrifice himself for the Salarian Councilor if Thane was dead and wasn't able to do it. So if I wanted Kirahe to live, I'd have to let Thane live.
You can do all of ME3 with Garrus already dead. Tali makes a lot of depressing remarks about it IIRC. Although I guess you could do ME3 with Tali dead too. Holy shit I didn't even think of that.
I don't even know how the Sanctuary Mission would play out with a dead Miranda.

I tried once. I couldn't get over not having Garrus.
All I really want to do in ME3 is play the Citadel DLC.

Making sure Thane dies is the only reason to play Mass Effect.

Anybody been to Top Golf? I've managed to avoid it up until this summer but now I've been twice in about a month and a half. I don't like golf and I'm bad at it but getting points and drinking while doing so makes it worth the $10 or whatever it is depending on your group.

Into hour 9 of having no power after a 45 minute storm blew through Tulsa. I kinda feel like Tulsa should invest in putting our power lines underground, given that we're in Tornado Alley, but I guess that would require money that the State of Oklahoma doesn't have.

Re: What are you wonderful people up to?
Blizzard designed a Hearthstone card so poorly that the lead designer had to make a 6 minute video effectively apologizing for how terrible it is and saying they will remove the card from Arena so people aren't faced with actually having to choose it.

I just don't think I have it in me, piano.
Something reminded me of SWTOR the other day so I checked their reddit and somebody said Bastion has like 20 people on Imperial fleet during peak time now. lol. It was bad when there were 120+. I imagine that means there are no pubs.

Fkn Swtor. So many bad design choices. I love star wars, bioware and wow, why couldn't they mix all three properly? At least wow is in a good spot
Are there any star wars games on the horizon? I'm outta touch and the only thing I remember from e3 is zelda
