Revenant was okay. I wouldn't give Leo an Oscar for it. My fav bit was when they caught rain on their tongues.

Best part of the Revenant was how pretty it was. Same cinematographer as The New World, Tree of Life, Birdman, Children of Men etc. Leo's done better acting but I'm guessing they are just going to give this one to him to be done with it.

I THREW CHICKENS IN TOMB RAIDER.

Does the map work in the beginning part of the Soviet Installation for you guys? It shows no details until I zip line down to the camp, and when I fast travel back up it goes back to showing no details. It's made finding those last one or two cache's super annoying.

It had moments of pretty brutal violence, but honestly it wasn't too bad. Certainly not worse than I was expecting. Bear scene was serious business, but all of it fit the tone.

Has anyone gotten The Witness? It looks really pretty but $40 seems like a lot and I've heard the puzzles don't have much variance?

Beat Tomb Raider.

I liked it. I think that the puzzles were a step in the right directions and that the craftable explosives were a bunch of fun. None of the puzzles blew me away in scope or complexity though and I don't think any of the tombs took me more than 20 minutes to solve. I liked the villains but I felt like much of the story elements were copied from the last game and that the new elements weren't surprising or particularly interesting. I like that they brought back Jonah. I also like that there wasn't a love interest, that the interpersonal relationships between Lara and all male characters were close but not romantic. Re-breather is OP.

XCOM 2 unlocks tonight but I didn't pre-load it so boo. Chkn will you trade custom characters with me?

because steam is the fuckign worst piece of shit ever, i wasn't able to preload either, and am now trying to download it, at erratic speeds. Looks doubtful i'll be able to play it tonight. And damn have i been hyped for xcom 2. shake my head. Stabs Gaben's voodoo doll.

Switched to Denver server and the game downloaded in a flash. I no longer want to kill Gaben.

On my first mission one of my squad members was blown up by a truck, and another panicked and ran into flames of said burning truck and burned to death.

First hour review: game is amazing.
I have a very good feeling about this game. I can tell I'm going to put over a hundred hours into it. It just feels right. Very excited.

One of my squad members got killed from three screens away. A rookie panicked, ran further towards the enemy, then turned around and threw a grenade at the closest ADVENT soldier, who happened to be standing next to my only squad member worth a damn.

Great game, 10/10. Don't think I'll try Iron Manning this one, though (not that I saw the option to).

Was hanging around on a roof because I feel like roofs are safer. Got into a fire fight with a dude who shoots rockets. the rockets hurt, the falling damage is what wiped my team. 10/10 save scummed.
