I tried to play Child of Light twice in the last two days and both times it lets me know that autosave isn't working, and there's no other way to save my game so I lose all progress.

I guess this is because I'm running it through uplay, via steam? In any case, fuck uplay.

Apparently the next free Origin game is Jade Empire. I don't know when they switch games though. Red Alert 2 is the current one.

Battlefront's impressions so far haven't been very flattering. It seems like a very thin game with a very expensive season pass. I think i'll pass for now.

I'm going to give it another go tomorrow and then probably see about getting a refund. There's not much to this game. Dogfights are fun, I crash speeder bikes a lot, thats fun. I've got a 0.91/1 KD ratio so I'm also pretty bad at the game. I can't see a thing on Endor. I can't get the weapon I want withouth another ~5 hours of grinding. If your weapons are designed to be balanced I shouldn't have to do that.

The worst part is that unlike BF1 and 2 there are no more than 2 objectives on a map at any given time, so you know what everyone is doing at any given time, which makes the games ability to surprise you basically non existent. Since the game only has ~8 maps...

I got ass creed Syndicate free with my vidya card, and that unlocked today. So I might try that if i can tear myself away from fallout.

It still annoys me that I missed the free Witcher 3 promotion with my video card and got MGSV instead. Would have liked Syndicate over it as well.

Syndicate is pretty fun. I haven't played an ass creed game in several years so it feels fresh. And it is gorgeous.

It looks interesting (cuz babe), I heard that they dramatically improved combat, which is cool. Lemme know other thoughts.

Battlefront is still just okay. I play a lot of the starfighter stuff because I don't have the loadout I want unlocked and I'm better at starfighting than I am at being infantry. Would not recommend.

Jessica Jones is OK two episodes in. Netflix shows usually take a few episodes to get going for me.

edit: I don't know about Luke Cage but I really like him so far. Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter are both great so far.

Yeah they're both well cast. Only thing I don't like about Jessica Jones is the production value seems to be a lot less than Daredevil and the fight scenes are sloppy and pretty bland.

I'm also pretty interested in Just Cause 3. It might be just the desire to test my pc but it looks really fun. Maybe i'll get it from a grey market.

Jessica Jones >>> Daredevil. Fight scenes seem less elaborate for sure. Like most Netflix shows I think it gets better as you go.

There's a scene in a prison hospital that I was pretty surprised to see.

I thought about this while watching. I'd want to find a way to make easy money that isn't basically robbing people. I don't know how to do that. And then I'd probably travel. I'm a bore.

I finished Jessica Jones I really liked it but,

Support group attacking Jessica arc was boring. Hope's suicide seemed unnecessary. The Robin and Rueben characters were just the worst. Bringing in the Rosario Dawson character seemed forced, as Jessica up to that point was more about forcing everyone else away and it seemed odd she'd be so trusting so quickly after meeting someone.

I really liked the idea of the cop that breaks down after encountering Kilgrave. Kilgrave was a terrifying villain. Just terrifying. I liked that they gave Trinity's secretary a backbone.
