How is Prey? Been hearing good things about its Metroidvania parts and really bad things about the plot.

I love it. The plot is eh. But the exploration/design was so fun. It's definitely very metroid with a little bit of half life spliced in.

So far it's okay. I just finished the arboretum and fought a telepath and a technopath and trying to kill the telepath before the humans suicide on me has been the only interesting fight of the game so far. Game does a good job of making me try to conserve ammunition. The Gloo gun is a really good mechanic.
