I don't own a Wii U. If the NX is appealing then maybe I'd get it on that. It's the first game on these new consoles that has me truly interested. PS4 and especially Xbone seem pointless if you have a PC.

This is a long post on Reddit about Mass Effect

-Ryder has a family. This family ties into the storyline (Maybe siblings, parents etc)
-The female Ryder isn't exactly the default face. There is a bit of a twist this time around but they can't say more yet

Makes me think we have a DA2 situation where you have multiple presets you can customize but the presets determine your family's appearance.

I'm glad Ryder isn't the DA BEST OF DA BEST. RPGs are a lot funner when you're just some random jackoff rather than THE CHOSEN ONE.

I'm not a huge fan of giving the character a family, especially after the shitshow of a story that Fallout 4 had, but hopefully they'll at least give us a few options of our character's past like ME1 had, even if they're only referenced a few times throughout the game it's still nice.

Hopefully we'll get more Quarian booty, maybe a Drell waifu?

Family stuff is interesting. The way that post made it sound makes me think. Maybe you play 2 characters, brother/sister a la that Assassins Creed game, maybe you get a Bethany/Carter esque companion. Sounds cool to me.

Fallout 4 story was fantastic I loved trying to find my son the whole game and then the end twist was so huge really great loved it alot.

But really, I want to like Andromeda, but I know exactly what we're going to get. It's going to be another decent shooter with light roleplaying elements. I liked this from the comments section of that reddit post. Fighting evil family is a fun trope.
