I'm not actively rooting for the Thunder to lose games but I'm not going to be upset if they lose. This team is so bad. I never thought we'd have a player worse than Jeremy Lamb on defense but Enes Kanter proved me wrong. He's probably the worst defensive big in the league. Thunder fans are counting on Serge to make him better but I don't think it's possible to be a true contender next season if this dude is playing 30 mpg. It's just too easy to score on and around him.

He's still not worse than Waiters though. Chicken you see Waiters and Burke get called out in that worst shooters in the league article on Grantland?

No but I've seen Burke shoot in the flesh.I can confirm whatever the Grantland article is saying (he has got a little better, as of late, with a more developed floater--but I'm not sure I believe it).

Enes is putting up crazy stats but the same story in Utah--his defense is so bad he's just not an efficient player when he's out there. He's essentially Big Al, could maybe be a little better, but likely end up being a little worse. I heard Chris Webber during the Spurs bloodbath (which, to be fair, was not all Kanter's fault, but just a bloodbath), say that Kanter just needs to learn how to play defense here because they weren't in Utah. I wasn't shocked that C-Webb doesn't pay attention to small markets, but that kind of optimism over Kanter's ability to become a better defensive player seems to guy who watched him the last four years as very unlikely. Maybe he's just never had the right coaching staff teach him how to switch... I hope it works out. He really is a good dude despite his low IQ (on and off the court).

It is tough to evaluate without Ibaka--and even Durant. I would like to see Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka, and Kanter starting lineup. That could be absolutely deadly. If Kanter keeps improving his passing.

The big issue is you guys are going to have to pay him come this offseason. Some crazy ass team will miss out on a bigger free agent, look at Kanter's offensive stats, and throw money at him. I'm glad we got away from that.
