I get excited for summer league and then I watch summer league and remember how horrible it is to watch. Exum looks really good but really young. I'm excited about his speed--his first step is like, I'm at the basket--and scared about his dribble.

Yeah, summer league is always kind of interesting because it's the only option, but you can't look into it seriously. Olynyk looked like Dirk last summer.

I know this is just a reflection of me being a terrible person, but really why couldn't that happen to a guy on a West team?

I'd rather it not happen at all and it's not like Indy was going to light the world on fire anyway but they were one of five teams in the East who care about winning next season.

Without George Indy will be even worse to watch. I really hope George's career isn't ruined. It seems likely that it'll be changed. They're saying he'll recover but they could just be saying that.

Even if everything heals correctly it's going to take forever to recover from and that time away from the court will hurt him. Especially on offense since he's pretty much just learning how to dribble and needs the reps in game to improve there.

If it doesn't, ugh.

Gordon is pretty heavy into SC2, he did stream it a few times--not sure if he still does. He showed up to a few high-profile tournaments and IGN interviewed him. He knows the names of "famous" starcraft players. I don't know if he has a twitch channel, but probs. People probably don't recognize his voice because he plays for the Utah Jazz, but the starcraft community was thrilled to have someone less than 300 pounds.

Fun fact: that's his wife who, in the grand utah tradition, just barely graduated from high school. Seems like their relationship is going pretty well if she's trying to embarrass him for his gaming habits. Great idea to get married at 18. Well, I mean basketball money. So.

Also, I like how Gordon has a very good shot at making team USA, especially with Durant dropping out, and he still finds time to get on starcraft, or whatever he's doing. Those are nice headphones. Probably bought those with his new contract. Thanks, Jordan.

I didn't click the link but was that not the owners words, and Ferry was just dumb enough to not omit them verbally?

Either way, I was looking all morning for this quote. Nobody would specify what the racial remark was. That's fucked up and hilarious.

The owner e-mail was something different they found after the Ferry thing was reported. I'm guessing because they just searched Ferry's e-mail (he was a recipient of the owner's e-mail).

He followed it up with calling Deng a liar and a cheat. I don't think anybody knows exactly what was on the report and whar Ferry was saying himself.
