I got Farcry 4. And I was like, cool. It's snowing outside, I want to run through a jungle. But I can't play it because I can't patch it because psn and xbox live are down because of hackers, I guess. or some ddos derp derp. And I don't dare play a game without downloading the day one patch, because like, that's dangerous.

You'll still be in the Hinterlands, putting flowers on graves and finding missing wedding rings.

The Hinterands is Purgatory.

All zones are like the Hinterlands, no interesting quests, just annoying busywork and useless collectibles.
It kind of sucks the replay value out of the game for me, since you need to get power to be able to do missions.

I liked the late game zones, at least aesthetically.

The Hinterlands is like questing in Wyoming.

If you feel like you have to do everything in one playthrough, sure. I'm not being sarcastic. I understand people are completionists.

But I skipped entire zones and barely touched others in my first playthrough so there's tons I haven't experience as I go through my second bit by bit (and it's looking I'll have some left over for a third, too).

I just don't do the boring ones and I haven't had an issue. Hinterlands has more of those than other zones.

Indeed, I'm a completionist so that's a big factor.

Yeah, I did a completion playthrough the first time. But I don't feel the need to do it again. Now I'll just get to choose my favorite places to quest.
