Holy crap. TBH i wouldn't have felt cheated with just the MSpaint cake, but wow, thanks! I hope you enjoy it. What kind of cake is it? Whats the Ithorian made of? What are you going to to tell your brother when he asks what the fuck is a Grel?

Anyways, the cake is just orange and poppyseed and the Ithorian I made using sugarpaste. Which is basically an edible sort of modelling paste. I was just lucky I had some at hand because I've been meaning to try it out for ages now, so this was a reasonable excuse to give it a first try

I think I need a lot more practice

Also, about 2 minutes after taking these pictures, the Ithorian face planted into the cake. Despite the supports I put into his legs

He looks pretty funny now.

Well actually, part of the reason why I had this brilliant idea for a minecraft cake was that in the last couple of months, we've discovered that my niece is intolerant to wheat and dairy and my nephew is allergic to eggs.

So by making four or more different kinds of cakes for blocks I can hopefully fulfill everyone's individual dietary needs, whilst not having them feel excluded.
