I finished Daredevil. Altogether I think it was better than the previous season and it appears that they're moving away from Foggy at least, what with killing Murdoch & Co. or whatever. Now we just need to kill off Karen. Best episodes were with Fisk. I like the bearded newspaper guy. I enjoyed the Punisher a lot more than I thought I would.
Luke Cage show in September, it'll probably end with him meeting or hearing about Iron Fist. Get hype.
I didn't want to pollute Grel's bats thread but I finally saw Deadpool this weekend and it was OK. There were some funny moments but I don't understand the level of praise it got. Maybe the Marvel factory movies are just getting to people.
Maybe Civil War will be good. X-Men will probably be bad.
I saw Zootopia though and it was rad.
I've seen a few episodes of Daredevil S2 and I miss Jessica Jones.
Daredevil season 2 was fine. Definitely missed Jessica Jones and the much stronger supporting cast. Foggy is satan. Daredevil is worth it for the greatly choreographed fight scenes though. With most american blockbusters being hundreds of millions expensive, battles of CGI, i miss that mid-tier action movie that just has people punching each other. This show definitely scratches that itch.
Ultimately the season had too many plot lines, and the one we spent the most time on (Electra and the black sky and the whatever ninjas) wasn't near as interesting. The spark that the kingpin brought in his couple episodes was like, gtfo magic ninjas, this show should be Daredevil vs kingpin, ala Jessica Jones v Killgrave.
I have nightmares about Foggy. His haircut. The screentime he gets yet.... that he has nothing important to do or add.
I feel like they should have made the ninjas dress like ordinary people instead of generic ninja outfits. It would have made 'The Hand' feel a lot more sinister if they had ninjas that could be anyone in a crowd.
Yeah, I really didn't care for the Halloween ninjas either. It got really schlocky. Also there wasn't really a villain. Kingpin shows up a few times and who gives a fuck about that Nobu guy? I didn't even remember him.
I just had arena runs in hearthstone of 8-3 and 0-3. 8-3 was with a crappy deck. 0-3 was with an amazing deck. This game is so stupid why do I play it.

I'm only just finished episode 2. I kinda feel like I'm forcing myself to watch, in the hope it might get better?? But currently the whole Foggy/Karen/Grotto adventures are just shitting me. But so is Daredevil and Punisher too actually. It just feels pretty mediocre at this stage. This is currently one of my 'if I have nothing else to watch' shows.
Yeh I fin daredevil. I agree with chicken, was a very busy season. But I enjoy the fight scenes too. And kingpin def number 1, Nobu was a sack o shit. Especially poor follow up to Kilgrave.
I still have no idea what it means to be black sky or whatever.
Punisher turning up in the final scene to headshot a few ninjas then nod in approval made me laugh a bit. Probably unintended comedy by the writers.
Is this set after JJ? Only reference I remember was maybe a line or two from Rosario and Trinity at the end.
PS - I hope that Trinity's lesbian lover gets a season about her love life. :]
I finished. Things picked up with the Elektra episodes but it still was kind of meh. Felt like two separate seasons that weren't good enough to last more than three or four episodes on their own but they were stitched together to make 13. I don't think Punisher was bad but by the end of the season he just feels really shoehorned. JJ did a better job of setting up Luke Cage.
Fight scenes were coo.
I wonder how Jessica Jones is going to do without Kilgrave. It's a good cast without him but he was such a terrifying villain.
Does anyone still play SWTOR? I just started playing again and finished the Imperial Agent story for the second time(First one wasn't blue master race) and finally got around to doing Makeb after buying it years ago. Makeb was okay, loved the look of it though, should be a stronghold option. Now I'm doing seeker droid missions, which are a pain in the ass, it's like archaeology but 10 times worse. I'm sure you guys knew this already 10 years ago.
I don't remember if it was seeker droids or macrobinoculars but one of them had good in-between quests after every two planets or whatever it was. Also a really great ending quest that requires 4 people so I don't know if you can even find people to do it anymore. Unless they changed it you can't overlevel it either because you actually need four to complete a puzzle or two. It took me a while to find people to do it like two years ago so I can't imagine how hard it would be now.
I don't know what you have access to but the attack on Korriban / Tython line is OK and something you can run through by yourself if you want. And then Shadow of Revan mostly sucks but has one or two cool things you can do. I haven't played anything after that because fuck SWTOR.
