Because Spain still gets to play good teams. We're still in CONCACAF. We played Grenada on Sunday, Honduras tonight (the best team we will face the whole tournament unless we play Mexico in the knockout stages) and Haiti in a few days.

Haiti.

Yup.

Did you see the match, our team came up on the field acting as if they had already won and this was warm up for the finals. Fucking retards, they didn't start pressing the offence until they realized we had lost the game. An idiotic way to end our greatest winning streak ever.

We played just as stupid against Brazil. Made no attempt to possess the ball. Instead, hey, why don't we fucking give it away every time we get a chance.

You still don't have to play Haiti.

Haiti is as bad as San Marino. I can beat the entire San Marino team on my own, while blindfolded.

U.S. won 2-0. Rather uneventful game until the second half.

As far as tequila, there are a number of ways to do it.

If you have time, marinating or cooking the meat you use (if any) in a tequila-based mixture has some great results. Beef absorbs a little too much in my opinion, but chicken and shrimp have had good results for me. This is the best way, as the flavor of the meat can easily dominate a good quesadilla.

If I use a tomato sauce or any kind of sauce, tequila can work in that as well. I recommend trying some of your favorite alcohol in your recipe if you ever make homemade salsa or any kind of sauce. Tequila, tomato and lime salsa is excellent, especially with eggs. Whiskey can make a good salsa too. I know people that have made salsa with rum or stout, but I've never tasted it or bothered to make it.

What I did today was just pour some tequila over the ingredients between the tortilla right before I cooked it. It made a difference, in my opinion.

I used chicken, mozzarella, homemade pineapple salsa (with some onion), chopped tomato and mandarin oranges and a little bit of bell pepper. Nice and light dinner, also a little different from the normal stuff you get at restaurants.

For those that have never tried it, shrimp quesadillas are amazing. Shrimp is one of the best meats to put in a Latin dish, in my opinion .

My tastes might be a little off but quesadillas are one of my favorite things to make. I fucking bastardize the shit out of Mexican cuisine.

I agree with that. I think if both Spain and the US were playing at their best, it would have been 2-1 or 3-1 Spain. US played well at the right time. I think the US wins that game maybe 1 or 2 times out of 10.

I'm no expert, but if he FELL OVER OUR PLAYER, shouldn't it be indirect?

Nah, pretty much the only thing you can get an indirect for is an intentional backpass to the keeper. There are other ways, but that's the only way that ever happens.

By the way, Lucas Neil is a mando and sucks and yadada yada.

You guys did get screwed over though when the ref let that Croatian-Australian player playing for Croatia get away with three yellow cards in a single match because he got confused when the Croatian spoke English with an Aussie accent.

I laughed my ass off at that (or LMAO).

By the way, US tied (eeeek) Haiti 2-2. Against Haiti. They don't even have their own island. They have to share it with somebody else, and we tied them. Haiti.

Haiti.

Haiti, shares an island with the dominican republic, a nation without a football team, strange the Haitians have time to play football, seeing as they have civil war and stuff.

In other Football news, bar got himself a link up with a twit that works at Bernabeu, meaning Baraja gets tickets for this autumn-winter Real Madrid-Barcelona. If anyone else is interested I can get you an awesome price (winks at ebado)
