The Americans starts Wednesday and this is very good news because there's nothing on.

I think it qualifies as my favorite TV show now. At least favorite non-comedy.

Its great. Hopefully Paige doesn't stink up the season. Super excited all the same.

It's up there for me. There's not really any comedies I'm into at the moment, except for Veep, the greatest show of all time. Although I've been bingewatching this show Banshee and it's ridiculously enjoyable.

I like Paige. Are there people who don't like Paige?

I think there are people who wonder if Paige is going to be a good actress as her role keeps getting bigger. Child actors can be terrible. Wiki tells me she's 17 now thought which is older than I thought.

I've always hoped the creepy church people were sent to evaluate Paige to see if she was a good candidate

the creepy church people were indeed creepy, and I thought that too, them being so creepy and all. But the way that plot played out last season makes me think that's not where it's going. I think the church could complicate things for Paige, offer her another way. And I'm not sure Paige is going to be doing spy missions... I think it's more just another wrench to throw at Elizabeth and Phillip. It seems like there's no way Phillip would let it happen, but Elizabeth, the true believer of the two, is considering it. The Paige thing could be the end-game loyalty test for the family.

I really didn't like the Paige's religion thing because it just felt like forced parent-teen drama. Oh there's a teenager. OF COURSE there has to be drama in that department.

Stan's ex-wife is infuriating.

I'd be scared for Nina if I wasn't 100 percent sure they were keeping her on the show.

Why is Stan's ex-wife into Tom Cruise's character from Magnolia? Pretty good ep. The opening chase sequence with Liz/Stan's boss was pretty cool.

Solid second episode. Elizabeth is the most damaged person in suburbia.
