So Transistor was pretty great and I'd probably play it through to 100% if I didn't screw up colossally, but I'm thinking the real value in my purchase was the soundtrack which is just holy shit omg so god damn amazing.

It's better than the Dayz standalone, but only because it's half competent. The interesting mode is Battle Royale. It can be pretty fun but the game is pretty stripped down and vanilla right now. It'll be interesting to see where the game is in a few months.

Right now don't spend your money though.

It's kidna weird how they completely fucked up microtransactions so badly after doing a pretty good job of it in PS2

I thought I read that they nerfed the airdrops after a day or two so it's not pay-to-win. It is weird. I almost never see complaints about PS2's F2P system.

I still don't like the idea of buying tickets to play battle royale. There should just be an option you can permanently buy to play battle royale forever since that seems like the most interesting part of the game right now. These little ticket systems in game are ass. I'd pay $20 for unlimited battle royale access.

it's really dumb. Battle Royale is the only interesting thing about the game. Just make it a Battle Royale game--it's what people want. It's impossible to get into a battle royale server right now because that's all anyone wants to play... so Wwhy make it hard to play the best part of your game? Why not step back and say, hey, people really seem to want a Battle Royale game, maybe that's what the game should be?

The decisions game companies make are so fucking dumb. Seriously. This country needs a video game czar to save these people from themselves. I can just tell they've got their heart set on this dumb model. I don't even care about airdrops or anything. Whatever. But making people buy tickets like they're at the god damn circus to play the only fun part of your game? Stupid.
